The subject: Debbie
Debbie Before: The challenge was to make Debbie’s hair stylish & easy to maintain on a daily basis. She has 3-4 inches of her own color and A LOT of other inches of hair that has old washed out colors from years past. Any time the hair is past the shoulders it’s 2 years or older and that hair has seen a lot of heat and chemical action. Debbie wanted to look younger so we had to cover her “antique blond” as I say. We also needed to make her base color even, then add highlights for dimension so her color doesn’t look flat. I took about a foot of hair off and even though Debbie was hesitant, she trusted me – “Thank You Debbie”.
Debbie After: I chose shoulder length hair for her because it gave her the feeling of having some hair left on her head and it would be more manageable to work with at this length. A Brazilian blowout would make Debbie’s hair silky smooth and easy to blow out with the blowdryer in half the time. After Debbie’s color was done I could see her beautiful hazel green eye color popping out at me. I chose plum and soft lavender shadows to make the green in her eyes pop even more. All her make up was airbrushed on except her lips and mascara. If you’ve never had airbrush makeup before it’s a real treat for flawless looking skin. I would consider it for your next formal event or photo.
Attention prom girls: airbrush makeup doesn’t smudge! 🙂
I think Debbie’s image was dramatically changed and a few years where shaved off along with that foot of hair. Best of luck to Debbie and thanks for being on my website.
